Cancellation Policy for Treks and Tours

We are flexible in case you want to cancel your tour/trek at any time, however the cancellation notice must be made in writing to incavisiontours@gmail.com or info@incavisiontour.com If you cancel for any reason as the day of your tour/trek approaches, please remember that your  initial deposit is 100% non-refundable. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions since there is a great deal of expenses that Inca Vision (IV) pays to set up these tours. We would be happy to supply a letter for your insurance company to help recover some of the cost.

Note: Inca Trail permits are non-refundable and non-transferable, as they are issued accordingly to your passport.

1. Cancellation Policy for Day Tours, multiday tours or hikes, package tours which lead to MachuPicchu o involve reservations such as hotels, permits or entry tickets, the following cancellation terms apply:

• Cancellations within 72 Hours of Departure:
  If you cancel your tour within 72 hours or less before the scheduled departure, 100% of the total cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• Cancellations During the Tour:
  If you cancel or abandon the tour at any point during its duration, 100% of the total cost will be non-refundable.
• Cancelations with refund.

The pre-deposit made to confirm your booking is non-refundable at any time once tickets are purchased. However, if you paid the full amount at the time of booking and cancel at least 72 hours in advance, we will refund the total amount minus for the pre-deposit. The transaction fee will be deducted from your refunded amount.

2.Cancellation Policy for Day Tours and Day Hikes (Without Machu Picchu)

For day tours and hikes that do not include Machu Picchu or require reservations such as hotels or entry tickets, the following cancellation terms apply:

• Free Cancellation:
  Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled tour departure are eligible for a full refund excluding transaction fee.
• No Refund for Late Cancellations:
  Cancellations made within 72 hours of the tour departure are non-refundable.

This policy applies to popular day trips and hikes such as: Maras Moray, Sacred Valley, Rainbow Mountain, Humantay Lake & Similar tours.

3.Cancellation Policy Due to Unforeseen Events Beyond Our Control

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, or other exceptional events), we may be forced to cancel or alter the tour.

If your tour is affected by such events, the following actions may be taken:

• We may offer an alternative option: We will try do our best to reschedule your tour or provide a similar experience.
• We may issue a refund: Depending on the situation we may issue issue either a partial or full refund. However, this will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that refunds or compensation may not be applicable if the tour is altered or affected by such events for safety season.

Please note that all services provided, as well as any disagreements or claims related to them, are subject to Peruvian law. By making a booking with us, clients agree that any legal issues will be handled exclusively in the jurisdiction of Peruvian courts.
