Detailed itinerary
Today is an exciting day to explore the heart of Cuzco city!!! At 12:00 P.M, you will meet you tour guide in your hotel to begin your tour. Then, you will head to Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the famous cathedral built by Incas but designed by Spaniards. Following, you will continue on foot through an ancient Inca-built street from the mains square to the Q’oricancha (the Temple of the Sun) where you will hear the history of the Inca architecture. Later, you will see the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo Inca site to see its altars on the bed rock formation, then Pukapukara (the Red Fortress) with cryptic historical use. And the last stop to finish our tour will be Tambomachay (temple of water). Then head back down to Cusco city where you will be drop in your hotel or near to Main Square. End of our services.
Note: Your hotel or accommodation should be booked on the main town since we will pick you up early and we are unable to go to the Airbnb that is far away from downtown.
Then you will spend the afternoon at your leisure. You can shop with locals at San Pedro Market, wander on the streets of 12 angles (stonework) or bohemian San Blas.
