Overview
Moray and Salt-Mine in Maras is the perfect combination of the best things to explore part of the Sacred Valley, come and enjoy the magic of Moray, a set of circular terraces located in a deep natural canyon, used as an agricultural laboratory since the time of the Incas.
And then enjoy a wonderful place full of salt, Salineras de Maras or Salt Mines, an impressive set of salt pits, which are irrigated by an underground spring, where salt is currently being exploited and processed for various purposes including human consumption.

Daily Itinerary
In the morning at 8:00 AM, our tourist transport will pick you up from your hotel, then we will start our adventure through the mountains on the way to Moray, once there we can learn about the importance of this place, its function in the Inca era and of course take photos of this amazing place.
Then we will go to the town of Maras to observe its colonial style in the Spanish streets and gates; After 20 more minutes in our tourist transport, we will arrive at the salt mines, an impressive place with more than 3,500 salt ponds carved into the mountain side, that are filled daily by a stream of water that come from the underground, which are still being exploited by locals, later we are coming back to Chinchero where Its major claim to tourism is its colorful Sunday market like in Pisac Market. This market is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday but if your trip isn’t on one of these days, they have a smaller textile center open daily and you have the chance to buy baby Alpaca clothes. Then we will return to Cusco where our transportation will take us to the center of city (main square of Cuzco at 2:30 pm aprox).
